I also wanted to mention that Adsense is not the only type of AIS site - this is another common misconception...

AIS can also be any type of "instantly downloadable" product - for example; eBooks, templates, video training material, programs, code etc etc. Basically anything that people can pay for and download without input from the site owner.

A good example is the site I recently sold which was my top AIS earner - this never carried Adsense Ads, but does have 7 or 8 eBooks for sale/download.

So, try not to look at AIS as only Adsense - Adsense is in fact one of the most underperforming AIS's out there. How many clicks does it take to get the equivalent of 1 template sale for example? A lot!

I tried to get people thinking about AIS's other than Adsense <a href="http://osworld.blogspot.com/2005/11/ais-report-1st-7th-nov.html" rel="nofollow">in my blog</a>...

Cheers,
Gary

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess I failed to add that of course, its not a get rich quick scheme, and anyone that can guarantee an income for no work is clearly a nutcase!

I'm getting between $30 and $35 a day on average from Adsense.

You don't have to do anything to these AIS sites in order to earn from them - I think that most people expect far too much. It's not a quick solution - these need time to bed in and start earning money. Most of mine have been running for months.

So AIS != quick cash. Which is I think where most people are failing to understand the concept. 3 months is needed at least to be able to pass a judgement on these sites.
